On November 25th, the first session of the "Red Core Smart Power" "Afternoon Tea for Teachers and Students" event, part of the School of Electrical Engineering's "Red Core Smart Power" initiative, was successfully held. The event was led by Guo Sheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Electrical Engineering, and attended by Zeng Liangzai, Director of the Student Affairs Office and Secretary of the Youth League Committee, as well as key student leaders from the Youth League Committee and Student Union.

During the exchange session, students reported on their performance and the challenges they faced, focusing on their practical work. The main issues raised included: low student enthusiasm for participating in cultural and sports activities and practical projects, often requiring repeated encouragement; tight deadlines and large workloads for some tasks, resulting in a relative shortage of manpower; some members exhibiting apathy; and limited club resources and difficulties in assigning advisors.

In response to the above issues, Guo Sheng proposed a systematic improvement plan: First, promote standardized development by creating a comprehensive work template covering the entire process, including activity planning, press releases, and dormitory inspection records; refine departmental functions; clarify job responsibilities and operational standards; and improve the continuity and operability of the work. Second, optimize the activity system by promoting tiered activity design and implementation down to the class level; and promote small-scale, regular, and professionally-oriented class activities to enhance content appeal and student participation. Third, strengthen human resource integration and collaboration by encouraging key class and student union members to share responsibilities, conduct skills training, and build a reserve of student cadres. Fourth, strengthen performance evaluation and management by establishing a quantitative assessment and exit mechanism; and implement a "warning-interview-exit" process for those who fail to perform their duties effectively, ensuring accountability.

This "Afternoon Tea for Faculty and Students" event provided an opportunity for in-depth exchange among faculty and students of the School of Electrical Engineering. Through problem analysis and suggestion exchange, it pointed the way for the school's work. It is believed that with the joint efforts of all faculty and students, the School of Electrical Engineering will continuously optimize its working model, stimulate organizational vitality, unite the efforts of faculty and students, improve work quality, and write an even more brilliant chapter.
