On the afternoon of September 25th, the School of Electrical Engineering held a mobilization meeting for the 2024 graduate entrance examination and employment at the Zhiyuan Conference Center. Liu Xiping, Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering, Zhang Jingxuan, Counselor, and Tang Chunlin, National Vocational Mentor, Entrepreneurship Consultant, and SYB Entrepreneurship Training Lecturer, attended the meeting. All 2024 graduates attended the meeting, which was presided over by Guo Sheng, Deputy Secretary of the School Party Committee.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dean Liu Xiaoping provided valuable opinions on the postgraduate entrance examination, employment issues, and confusion of graduates. One is to seek employment first and then seek employment, and move up the ladder. Students with employment intentions should first seek employment before choosing a career. They should have a curved development mindset, actively adjust their mindset, not blame others or give up on themselves, and wait for opportunities. The second is to have a correct positioning and establish the goal of taking the postgraduate entrance examination. Students taking the postgraduate entrance examination should establish awareness, strengthen their willpower, and embrace the challenges with a fighting spirit, down-to-earth spirit, and a positive and enterprising attitude.
Teacher Zhang Jingxuan analyzed the situation of postgraduate entrance examination and employment in recent years, explained the number of people who passed the postgraduate entrance examination last year and their directions for further education, explained in detail some employment welfare policies, and provided guidance on the operation process of the graduate online signing system. At the same time, encourage students to actively participate in recent campus recruitment activities, carefully prepare for face-to-face interviews with enterprises, overcome difficulties, and obtain satisfactory positions.
In addition, our college has invited Teacher Tang Chunlin to provide training on postgraduate entrance examination and employment interview skills for graduates. Teacher Tang provides guidance on employment skills from three aspects: resume preparation, job seeking etiquette, and interview skills. She used humorous and vivid language to explain in detail the layout of the resume content, appearance, words and actions, and the pre emptive psychology in the face of failure. This conference came to a successful conclusion with the beautiful wishes of Teacher Tang Chunlin, who said, "May every student become a thousand mile horse in Bole's eyes.".
