To commemorate the "December 9th" student anti Japanese and national salvation movement, stimulate the patriotic enthusiasm of students, and guide students to inherit revolutionary traditions, on November 19th, a class revolutionary song choir competition "Promoting Revolutionary Tradition and Promoting the Spirit of the Times" was held in the multifunctional lecture hall of the Third Building of the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation, singing the theme of loving the Party, loving the country, and loving socialism of the times.
The competition kicked off with the passionate and enthusiastic singing of Class 211 in China and abroad. During the competition, each student was passionate and full of youth. They used familiar songs such as "Singing of the Motherland", "Me and My Motherland", and "China in the Lights" to commemorate the glorious history of revolutionary predecessors, praise the prosperity of the motherland, and express their passionate patriotism. In the choir, various class representative teams also use various forms such as props, harmonies, lead vocals, recitations, action gestures, video animations, etc. to increase the viewing value of the performance, enrich the stage effect, and bring a wonderful audio-visual feast to everyone.
After intense competition, 8 first prizes including "China in the Light" from Automation Class 221, 12 second prizes including "Me and My Motherland" from Automation Class 223, 20 third prizes including "Me and My Motherland" from Electrical Class 221, and 6 Best Individual Awards including Liu Qimeng from Electrical Class 221 were finally selected.
Although the red song competition has come to an end, the patriotism will never be extinguished. This choir competition not only sets up a stage for students to showcase themselves and showcase their unique style as electrical students, but also allows students to better remember history, inherit revolutionary traditions, and promote patriotism through the December 9th choir competition.
