In order to help freshmen have a more comprehensive understanding of the professional learning content, stimulate their interest in learning and research, experience the laboratory environment and atmosphere firsthand, and understand the research fields, equipment, and experimental projects involved in the laboratory, on November 2nd, the School of Electrical Engineering organized all freshmen to visit and study in the laboratory of the School of Electrical Engineering. Professor Liang Yuming, the director of the School's Experimental Center, introduced and explained to the students.
Teacher Liang introduced the research content and equipment usage methods of each laboratory to the students, bringing them a high-quality scientific research enlightenment class. Teacher Liang hopes that every student can learn basic subjects well in their freshman year, combine theoretical learning with practical experience, and have better methods to solve problems in their future research path.
During the visit, the students listened carefully to the teacher's detailed introduction and developed a strong interest in various advanced laboratory equipment and experimental content. They stopped to watch and take photos to learn. In response to the questions raised by the students, Teacher Liang patiently answered them one by one, guiding them towards the development direction of their profession, emphasizing the development of the industry and the need for students to cultivate and establish thinking, which greatly benefited the students.
Through this visit, our new students have gained a deeper understanding of laboratory equipment, environment, etc., and a clearer understanding of their professional learning content, laying a solid foundation for their future efforts. The School of Electrical Engineering will continue to carry out a series of laboratory related activities to enhance students' interest in scientific research, further cultivate their practical and innovative abilities, and assist in talent cultivation in the college.
