From October 27th to 30th, the final round of the 18th "Challenge Cup" National College Students' Extracurricular Academic and Technological Works Competition, co hosted by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the China Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the All China Federation of Students, and the People's Government of Guizhou Province, and hosted by Guizhou University, was held at Guizhou University. Our students won the second prize in the main track of the competition.

Project Introduction: The "black flying" incidents of drones have been on the rise for years. In the Russo Ukrainian War, drones, as a "weapon of war," have repeatedly played the role of terrorist attacks, posing great security risks to public society and causing serious negative social impacts. This project studies and designs an intelligent and all-around interception and defense system for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) invading the no fly zone in a comprehensive, three-dimensional, and deep interception manner. It can recognize and detect, intelligently warn, acoustic positioning, radar ranging, directional tracking and aiming, electromagnetic interference countermeasures, and GPS deception interception of illegal UAVs invading the no fly airspace. It can protect the protected area and improve the safety of people's lives and property, Effectively prevent the occurrence of hazards.
It is reported that this competition has established an organic "1+1+2" competition structure consisting of the main competition, "unveiling and leading" special competition, red special activity, and "black technology" exhibition activity, attracting more than 2000 universities, more than 400000 works, and more than 2.5 million students from across the country to participate. The "Challenge Cup" competition is an important carrier for the Communist Youth League to serve college students in scientific and technological innovation. After more than 30 years of development, it has become a practical platform for the largest number of young students, a second classroom to cultivate young students' scientific spirit, and a tangible carrier to improve young students' collaboration ability and collective ideas. Among the winners, many academicians, heads of State Key Laboratory, professors, doctoral supervisors, etc, It has had a good impact on universities and even society, and is known as the "Olympic" event for contemporary college students' technological innovation.
